Directions: Route 9 (Memorial Highway) east from intersection with Route 115. Pass golf course on right, overpass for railroad, second building on left is Historical Society. Turn left just before building. Town owns 62+ acres. Gravel road into land. First part may be wet in spring. Click here to create a map using Mapquest.

How are the sky conditions? Milky Way visible to the naked eye. Portland, 12 miles to the SSW, creates some glow. Messier Marathon completed here in 2002 with 8" SCT.

Comments by submitter: "Passing car lights will bother you if you stay near the road but it is not very busy. Sodium light on end of barn 1/2 mile away is bothersome. I am working with owner to change."
