The Cherokee National Forest is to the north and east - very dark. The
south and west have low light domes.

Best horizon: Hard to say. Most of the
horizon is awesome except for really the southwest. The altitude is such
you can look level at the horizon - it is a hilltop with no trees - hence the
name!
